Hyenans dagar

Hyenas dagar is partly based on the Saara Turunen´s novel Hyena Days.

The theater piece pierces into the thematics of having a child. It follows the protagonist’s journey from fertilization treatments to having a baby, and depicts a period of a time where personal and social aspects merge into each other. Underneath the surface the piece handles corporality, control and demands on the female body. The drama lies beyond the images, it continues in the spectators imagination and experiences. The play doesn’t offer any clear answers, but builds up scenes, moments and situations for everyone to draw their own interpretations.
